 Working with Mike & Cody was one of the best experiences. There are no words to describe how incredible they are. The foundations they establish for the horses that come to their facility are truly everlasting just like their mission statement says. The groundwork and trust they build in them gives new owners a great chance at success with their new horse. You can feel the passion they have for what they do and for finding the perfect fit. From first contact to loading up I felt so comfortable and grateful to have worked with them. The quality time they spent with us preparing for MagPie’s journey to her new home was phenomenal. Their knowledge and patience blew us away. All this to say, yes, we would recommend Black Crow Mustangs a million times over 🖤 thank you for the hard work and dedication you both put into these incredible animals and for giving our girl the best gift of friendship ever.

First, I want to thank you both for doing the amazing work you do with these horses we call Mustangs, giving them a chance to have some place to call home. Second,  I teared up twice... when Michael prayed with the horse and just seeing those horses close their eyes when he was standing next to them, knowing where they come from and how much they trust him ...... you two have a special gift and it was so awesome to see it today.

 Hi Cody,

Just wanted to thank you and Michael for a great time yesterday. I LOVED Michael's demo - and he is now at the top of my list of favorite trainers. That's a hard list to get onto and only one other local has ever made it (he's now retired, but where I got a lot of my knowledge). Michael is truly a "horse whisperer" - he has a gift and it's nice to see someone who puts the animal first and isn't in a hurry. I could go on and on, but you two have got something great going on. I sure wish we lived closer and I knew how good you both were,  Mitch would have gone to you for training.

 We acquired Corvo just this past spring and boy this horse has a great foundation! Can’t say enough great things about Mike and what he’s doing for these horses. This was our first mustang and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how everything went. By the end of our season Corvo is leading our trail rides for our business, swimming bareback in the pond, and heading on hour rides into Letchworth State Park with NO issues ever! Mike represented this horse 100% for what he is and he turned out to be even greater than I expected. Add a mustang and you won’t regret it, take one home from Mike and Black Crow Mustangs and you’ll have a new friend for life!

 I cannot say enough good things about Michael and Cody! Michael worked with my completely wild mustang and built such a strong connection and trust that she was rideable in just 30 days. Michael’s training methods just make sense! Everything builds on each other and allows the horse to really grow and flourish with care and patience. Absolutely no fear or bullying involved like I’ve seen with some trainers. Michael was also a great teacher to me to make sure I was engaging with my horse in the most effective ways possible. I cannot thank him enough for the wonderful work that he did and all the time he put into my horse. She will definitely miss him! But we are so much prepared for a life together after his training. If you are considering sending your horse to Black Crow Mustangs—just do it! It is absolutely worth it and more! THANK YOU!!
 

 My daughter, Lauryn, and I were lucky enough to visit Mike and his horses. He spent time introducing us to his crew and educating us about his training process. We observed a training session. I can honestly say I was absolutely astonished to learn about the extremely deliberate and comprehensive program he trains these horses with. It is clearly built on superior knowledge of and respect for these horses. Every thing he does with them is deliberate and serves to build their trust and release fear from these animals. He is truly a horse whisperer who takes care to notice their smallest body language cues to help them progress through their fears and training. His devotion to and love for these horses is abundantly apparent. If you  receive one of his horses you are more than lucky you are blessed.
 

 Mike was absolutely amazing. He worked with us to make sure the horse we picked out was right for our situation and was very realistic with expectations. We worked together for months to make sure that me and my horse were a great fit and had a partnership!
